This brief blog post will demonstrate how to export an MR11 list to an MS Excel file.
Issue
In MR11, there is no direct option to save the list to an MS Excel file via: Menu > System > List > Save > …
SAP Note 3229632 presents a solution, but I was unable to find the specified option in S/4HANA.
Solution
1. Right-click on the blue area of the MR11 list and select the “Local File” option. Note: There is a menu option labeled “Spreadsheet…”, but it may not function correctly.
2. In the popup window, choose the “Spreadsheet” option and click “Continue”.
3. The system will automatically generate a file name. You may modify the name if necessary. Then, click “Export to…” and save the file to your chosen directory.
